The right wingers at the Parents Television Council were bored, so they decided to get fussy about BritBrit's If U Seek Amy, which, as you know, sounds an awful lot like "Fuck me" when said quickly aloud.

The PTC is warning radio stations to quit it because the song "violates the broadcast indecency law" if played between 6am and 10pm.

PTC president Tim Winter said, "There is no misinterpreting the lyrics to this song, and it's certainly not about a girl named Amy." No shit!

But the song's already hit airwaves and has worked its way to No. 92 on the Billboard Pop 100 with a cleaner version that replaces "seek" with "see." And one cheeky DJ's gone so far as recording a version in which he shouts his name over "Amy."

Leave Amy alone!
