Stay Away! Britney Spears Wins Again!
Britney's ex-manager, Sam Lutfi, dropped his appeal against a restraining order demanding he have no contact with Britney or her sons until 2012, according to NBC.
Jamie Spears, who makes all legal decisions for Britney as conservator, claimed Lutfi tried to undermine the conservatorship, as well as a threat to his daughter.
Lutfi feels these allegations stand without merit, claiming he never inflicted substantial emotional distress on Britney.
But she's not out of the woods yet with Lutfi. He is still moving forward with his civil suit against Britney and her parents.
The sharp words Lutfi is suing over stem from Lynne's 2009 memoir "Through the Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World," which paints Lutfi as a predator and abuser toward Britney.
Lawyers for Lynne Spears say Lutfi's lawsuit against their client is foolish, claiming Lutfi's reputation was already so low before the memoir, that his character is considered "libel-proof." Lynne appealed Lutfi's lawsuit, but was denied by a judge.
