Britney Makes Forbes ‘Top-Earning Musicians’ List

Singer Britney Spears is still one of the highest-earning musicians in the world.

Spears made it to number five of Forbes’ list of highest-paid musicians, which was led by U2, after she was estimated to have made $63.90 million last year.

Her come back to the world stage follows crises in her personal life, getting hospitalized several times and being placed under the conservatorship of her father.

She released her sixth album “Circus” in December of 2008 and it sold 3.5 million copies worldwide. Telegraph.co.uk reports that her tour “The Circus” grossed more than $131.47 million.

Meanwhile, U2 heads the list with earnings of $219.80 in 2009.
