People.Com's Coverage Of Britney's VMA Night!!
Britney Spears received a fitting tribute at the MTV Video Music Awards Sunday night: dozens of young dancers dressed as Britney lookalikes in some of the singer's most famous looks throughout the years.
From the school-girl knee socks of "Baby One More Time" to the red leather of "Oops! I Did It Again" to the glitter body suit from "Toxic," the dancers pulled off some of Spears’ most popular moves while the 29-year-old singer, who received the Video Vanguard award, looked on with a wide grin.
Earlier, Spears took home the Best Pop Video award for "Till the World Ends," thanking her sons Jayden and Preston – "Mommy loves you so much, babies" – and giving an "I love you" shout-out to boyfriend Jason Trawick.
