If Hollywood is basically one big high school, then the 2014 Academy Awards were totally its prom. Prom king and queen are Lupita Nyong’o and Jared Leto, OBVS, but the Cutest Couple superlative totally goes to Britney Spears and David Lucado, seen here being totally kewt at Elton John’s Oscars party. (We edited our high school yearbook. We know what we’re talking about.)

And to think, Brit-Brit was able to able to have such a beautiful time in the face of “Ooh La La“‘s Best Original Song Oscar snub. Such a strong Spearit, this one has.

Anyway, considering the fact that these two are nothing but adorable whether they’re draped in formalwear or just going grocery shopping, this Cutest Couple designation would be pretty hard to dispute, yeah?

Oh, and we’re also gonna give the “Tik Tik Boom” singer another nod for Best Hair. (That new red ‘do? We love.)
