Britney might be extending "P.O.M" to 2017 (NOW WITH VIDEO INTERVIEW)

Britney Spears has confirmed that she has extended her Las Vegas residency for another two years.

The Stronger singer was originally scheduled to perform her show at the Axis, Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino until the end of 2015 – but will now continue until 2017.

Asked about the extension on Good Morning Britain earlier today (September 25), Spears replied: “Yes, yes. I’m very excited. The way I used to travel all around the world and do a different show every night, I’m like, ‘How did I do it?!'”

“Promotion is a different story, and going to a different city every day, like what I’m doing now, it’s really hard,” she continued. “But being based in Vegas and having one show that you just keep going back to, the consistency of that is really grounding and really cool.”

Spears went on to discuss the follow-up to her 2013 album Britney Jean, revealing that she is working on “something really on edge and really different".
