Britney Spears looked like a picture perfect blonde bombshell in a glossy promotional image for her lingerie line, which was posted on her Instagram account on Sunday.
But it was a rather different story as the 32-year-old singer went shopping with her mother Lynn Spears in Thousand Oaks, a semi-rural suburb of Los Angeles on Monday.
The mother-of-two stepped out without hair extensions, revealing her natural bob.

The superstar singer has been donning an array of wigs and extensions for her Britney: Piece Of Me residency at Planet Hollywood's The Axis venue in Las Vegas.
But seems they have taken a toll on her locks, with her tresses showing signs of wear and tear.
She looked otherwise healthy and in good spirits for the low-key outing to a CVS drug store.

Britney showed off her slender shape in a pink, figure-hugging, long-sleeved T-shirt and blue jeans.
Her eyes were heavily made up for daytime with blue shadow, liner and thick mascara.
Lynn, a brunette, went for a white, long-sleeved T-shirt with black jeans and covered her eyes with a large pair of sunglasses.

Britney's bodyguard gallantly carried a big bag of groceries for the pair as they walked back to the car.
It was a brief break from her busy performing career.
On Tuesday, the Oops, I Did It Again star excitedly tweeted: 'The next round of #PieceOfMe tickets are up NOW!! Which shows are y'all coming to?? ❤️'

Britney will return to Vegas on Wednesday and will also be playing on Friday and Saturday for Halloween.
Some 50-odd shows into her two-year residency, the gig is proving such a success that Britney has been given a hefty pay rise from $310,000 to $475,000 per performance and 44 dates have been added to her schedule.
According to TMZ, the total of 140 shows will earn the star a whopping $66.5 million - more than enough to get a few treatments for her hair.
